Review – Hyperion Explorer Hybrid case for the Nokia Lumia Icon

Earlier this week I reviewed the expensive – but nonetheless really nice – Incipio Plume case for the Lumia Icon. Today, I accept one from Hyperion dubbed the 'Explorer Hybrid'. The case is much cheaper than the Incipio, running at effectually $iii.99 (just more when you cistron in aircraft). That's still a bargain and while the case is not exactly pretty, it does a squeamish task for protection.

Hyperion calls this 'Explorer Hybrid' considering it has a two Layer design with the inner a silicone core and an "Explorer Style Blueprint Anti-Slip Hard Shell exterior". That's a lot of mumbo colossal for saying this example has soft and hard protection built in, making it a pace higher up most difficult beat cases. The toll you pay though is in looks. While super functional, the case is past no means proficient looking. It's rather garish and it really takes away from the design of the Icon.
